Fish Compatability Empty
PostSubject: Fish Compatability   Fish Compatability EmptyMon Jul 25, 2011 3:09 am

The saltwater tank I have currently has a couple of damsels two fire fish and a diamond goby. I am thinking about adding a scooter blenny. Does anyone have any experience with housing a scooter blenny with a diamond goby? I have quite the diatom issue and thinking maybe a scooter would help. Any input will be appreciated.

I have had the 2 together before, they are both very docile.

a scooter blenny will not help your diatom issue, they eat live food mostly and would starve if you cant get it on frozen prepared foods. they are in the dragnet family and are not actually a blenny at all they just inharited the name due to their similar shape to a blenny. what you need for diatoms is serith snails and a fighting conch for you sand bed. i hope this helps.
